A venue much-loved by artists and musicians for its atmosphere and bohemian style. With its retro vibe, the Hotel Metropole’s Orientalbar & Bistrot is the perfect setting for enjoying an artfully prepared elegant drink, perhaps paired with characterful dishes inspired by Venice and the Orient.
The ambiance is adorned with Fortuny lamps, ancient 19th century armour and soft, welcoming sofas in deep red velvet. The interior also includes site-specific artwork by the artist Joseph Kosuth.

The drinks we offer also reflect the identity of the Metropole, with its quintessential Venetian character blended with strong Oriental overtones. Our Oriental Spritz is a must-try. The strong sense of our local identity characterizes our Signature drinks, which include cocktails such as SelectiVE and Campari Fresh – all prepared with locally produced ingredients.
The Orientalbar & Bistrot offers a simple-yet-characterful menu, where traditional classics of Venetian cuisine are given an eastern twist using oriental techniques, aromas and spices.
